How long does it take for KNEC certificate to be verified after receiving query?

Its more than a week since i requested for verification of dte certificate

KNEC says that it takes 10 days to process and dispatch the verification statement. Older examinations may take longer time to get verification statement. A statement will be sent to the registered email once verification is complete.

Older are like from which year?, mine has been on stage 2 of 3 for 2 weeks now and I sat for my Kcse in 2005,am worried bcoz the statement is urgently needed by my employer
