If you have forgotten your KRA pin number, then you can retrieve from the email you used to register. Just login into your email and search KRA Pin. You will be able to see the first email sent to you from KRA with your pin number. If it is not available in your email then you can scan your ID and send to callcentre@kra.go.ke and request for the pin. You can also call KRA through +245711-099-999 for pin request.

To get a KRA pin for a company, you need a tax agent pin. Even those who apply locally use tax agents. The best thing to do is to contact a tax agent and ask them to apply the pin for you. They charge between Ksh. 2k to 20k.
To recover your forgotten KRA pin and email, scan your ID (both sides) and send it to callcentre@kra.go.ke. Do not forget to include your new email address and your profession in the email that you will send to KRA
KRA account get locked when you take time before accessing the account.If you have tried to log in and you have received the warning message that "The account has been locked", then what you need to do is to click the Forgot Password or Unlock Account link available on the login page. A new password will be sent to your kra itax portal registered email. Use the password to log in and set a new account password.
