Why is the higher education fund portal not working properly

I tried registering without success.

The Higher Education Financing (HEF) Poralt is not working properly because of too much traffic to the website. Kindly try later or another day when there is little traffic to the site. The best time to use the portal is Sunday, very early in the morning or late in the day.

what are the hef guys doing to make the situation easier?time is really not on our side as the deadline is midnight twenty seventh august 2023
