Edwin Chiloba was an LGBTQ activist who resided in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu County, Kenya. On January 5th, 2023 he was found murdered and his body stuffed in a metal box in Mogombet Area, Kipkenyo, Kapseret Uasin Gishu County.
Although not confirmed by police, his murder has been associated by many with his LGBTQ stand (gay). The society in Kenya considers it immoral to be an LGBTQ member. However, there are now laws that define whether it is illegal or not illegal to be part of it.
