NHIF cards are printed at NHIF Headquarters in Upper Hill, Nairobi. After 60 days and you are entitled to be covered, go to NHIF Upper Hill office with your ID and they will print your NHIF card. The NHIF card is free. To get to NHIF Upper Hill office from Nairobi CBD, take vehicles headed to community area. If you are not in Nairobi, go to any NHIF office near you.
To get your NHIF membership number, send ID xxxx- to sms Code to 21101. Where xxx is your ID number. For example ID 1235467 to 21101.
If your NHIF account is active, all you need is to visit the NHIF office with your ID, and the card will be printed and issued to you.
Huduma number cards are currently available for collection for Nairobi residents only. If you applied for Huduma Number Card in Nairobi then you can go to your area of application to check if yours is ready for collection. To replace a lost NHIF Card, pay Ksh. 100 to NHIF bank account (KCB or Equity) and go with the deposit slip to NHIF desk huduma center or NHIF Upper Hill office, Nairobi. Your new card will be printed.
