TSC says that Mathematics is still a requirement but does not clearly explain the minimum grade for Mathematics for degree holders. However, for a diploma in education, you must have a C (plain) in Mathematics for science-based courses and D+( plus) in Mathematics in non-science-based courses. Therefore, if a diploma requires a C plain in Mathrmautcs then a degree must be C+ and above.

To be employed by TSC, you must have at least a C(plain) in maths for science courses and D+ for non-science courses. These requirements do change from time to time. It is important to consult your college or university before applying as they have all the requirements from TSC. Currently, TSC requires that you have atleas D+ in Maths to be employed by the government as a teacher. Therefore, it is advisable that you consider another course.
