African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2019 sponsored by Total will be held in Cairo, Egypt from 21 June to 19 July 2019.  Get to know how to watch and the results.

About AFCON 2019

The total Africa cup of nations will be held in Egypt from Friday 21st June to Friday 19th July 2019. Afcon 2019 Mascot (what brings luck) will be Tut. Tut originates from the Tutanhamum who was an Egyptian Pharaoh in 1323 BC.

There will be 52 matches that will be played. The opening match will be between Egypt vs Zimbabwe at Cairo International Stadium.

How to buy AFCON 2019 Tickets online

Total African Cup of Nations Match Tickets can be purchased online through the official CAF ticket website. Below is how to buy;

  • Visit: https://www.tazkarti.com
  • Register to get a Fan ID (You need a phone number, passport, current photo and valid email to sing up for fan ID)
  • After submitting the above details at the registration website. Your details will be reviewed by a human being for approval.
  • If approved, you will receive in your email A Fan ID number and password to sign in to your account
  • Purchase your match  ticket and then print your FAN ID
  • You are ready to go.

NOTE 1: If you registration is rejected, correct the registration details as requested

NOTE 2: Fan ID is used for identification of fans in the stadium purposes and is not replacement of Visa. Be sure to have your passport and VISA in place as usual.

NOTE 3: For underage, your guardian should apply for a FAN ID

NOTE: You can book a ticker for others who have a fan ID

Afcon 2019 Winners Prize

The amount of money that the winning Team will be awarded in Afcon 2019 is ksh. 450 million ($4.5 million. Other prizes include; Runners Up will get ksh 250 million ($2.5 million). Those teams that will finish at the semifinals will get ksh. 200 million ($2 million) each and the teams that will finish at the quarter finals will get ksh. 80 million ($800,000) each.
