Ministry of Education Principal Secretary, State Department for Technical, Vocational Education and Training, Dr.Esther Thaara Muoria has today launched Jitume Digital Enablement Training of Trainers Programme Cohort 1 at the Kenya School of TVET. Below is Esther's statement.

Jitume Digital Enablement Training of Trainers

It was my pleasure to officiate the launch of the Jitume Digital Enablement Training of Trainers Programme Cohort 1 at the Kenya School of TVET.

Over 107 TVET institutions have been equipped with virtual desktop infrastructures (VDIs) with the support of the State Department for ICT and Digital Economy under the Jitume Digital Enablement Initiative, which was launched in December 2022 to provide digital skills, e-services, and online opportunities to young people throughout Kenya.

My appeal to all the trainers is to actively participate in this workshop and harness the power of digital technology for economic and social development in our country.
