CS Mithika on 7th session of Kenya-Egypt Joint Cooperation Committee

Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development CS Mithika Linturi today met Wael Nasreldin Attiya, the Ambassador of Egypt to Kenya to discuss the upcoming 7th session of the Kenya-Egypt Joint Cooperation Committee (JCC), scheduled to take place from March 5th to 8th this year.

The 7th session will host between 80 and 100 companies keen on investing in Kenya. It will feature a ministerial meeting on March 7th, followed by a Business Forum on March 7th and 8th, 2024.

CS Mithika noted, "During our discussion, we explored potential areas of collaboration between our nations, particularly in supporting our irrigation & water harvesting efforts. We examined opportunities to enhance our market for red meat in Egypt & potential partnerships to improve our livestock breed"
