Lipton Tea Innovation and Technology Academy has today been launched by President Ruto, CS education Machogu, and Lipton Tea CEO Nathalie Roos. The Lipton Tea Innovation and Technology Academy will train Kenya farmers in improved farming techniques, enhancing the quality and yield of our tea. This initiative will solidify Kenya's position as a leader in producing top-quality tea. 

It is expected to empower farmers during crises, increase earnings for workers in the tea industry, and boost foreign exchange. The academy will also address contemporary issues like climate change, aiming to reduce carbon footprint and develop tea varieties resilient to climate change. 

Lipton Tea Innovation and Technology Academy will be located Kibianga University, strategically located in the heartland of tea-growing counties.

The Lipton Tea Innovation and Technology Academy, located at the University of Kabianga, is the world's first academy dedicated to tea research, innovation, and training.
