Foreign Affairs PS launches ID issuance center at the Kenya Embassy in Berlin

Ministry of Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Principal Secretary (PS) in the State Department for Diaspora Affairs Roseline Njogu has launched the ID issuance center at the Kenya Embassy in Berlin, Germany. 

The PS thanked the State Department for Citizen Services PS Julius Kibet Bitok and the Directorate of Immigration Services for the support to the Diaspora through this initiative that comes after the second phase of Mobile Consular Services held last year in the region, which saw a great need for the establishment of a center for issuance of Kenyan national Identification cards.

The center will ease the burden for Kenyans who have to travel around the region or travel back to Kenya to get the services.

Ambassador Valerie Rugene of Kenya Embassy Berlin assured Kenyans of the commitment to serve them once the center is fully operationalized

PS Njogu also convened a meeting to deliberate on a wide range of issues including Welfare and rights of Kenyans and growing key partnerships for the benefit of Kenyans in Germany and those in Kenya as well.
