KenGen Hosts Ethics and Integrity Session for Senior Management

Kenya Electricity Generating Company (KenGen) took a proactive step towards promoting ethics and integrity within its senior management team today. Spearheaded by Eng. Peter Njenga, the Managing Director and CEO of KenGen, the session aimed to raise awareness about ethical practices and integrity standards among the company's leadership.

The event, facilitated by the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) Kenya and the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management, emphasized KenGen's commitment to upholding transparency, accountability, and good governance principles in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

KenGen has long prioritized integrity through initiatives such as the Public Service Integrity Program, which addresses corruption risks and promotes ethical standards within the organization. The company's comprehensive framework includes an Employee Code of Conduct and Ethics, as well as an Anti-Corruption Policy, which serve as guiding principles for both the internal team and external stakeholders.
