Kenya to Host 2024 World Schools Cross Country Championships

Kenya will host the 2024 International Schools Federation (ISF) World Schools Cross Country Championships from May 9-14 at Ngong Racecourse in Nairobi. The Ministry of Education has organized team selection trials on March 27-28 at Nakuru High School to pick the national squad.  

The trials are open to 2024 Regional Champions in six categories:

• Under 12 Boys
• Under 12 Girls  
• Under 15 Boys
• Under 15 Girls
• Under 18 Boys 
• Under 18 Girls

The top 10 finishers in each category will qualify for the Kenyan team.

All participants are required to provide birth certificates.

Regional cross-country competitions are required to be completed quickly to identify the athletes eligible for the national team trials.
