The Indonesian delegation, led by Rita Susilawati, the Secretary of the Directorate of Minerals and Coal, will offer critical assistance in establishing a world-class accredited mineral testing and certification laboratory. This aims to meet the increasing demand for mineral testing services from mining investors in Kenya and beyond.

The three-day Forum is expected to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange in various areas, including geological surveys, resource mapping, mineral laboratory upgrades, regulatory and policy frameworks, skills development, and geo-scientific data processing and management.
