Investors invited to Fund Water and Sanitation Projects in Kenya

The Ministry of Water, the Water Fund, and the Council of Governors will starting on March 6th, 2024 host the Water and Sanitation Investors Conference at KICC in Nairobi, Kenya. The government is seeking to bring together NGOs, Donors, and Corporations that might be interested in funding or investing in water projects in Kenya. The Water and Sanitation Investors Conference - Kenya

The Ministry of Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation (MWSI) through the Water Sector Trust Fund, is organising the Water and Sanitation Investors Conference (WASIC) 2024 from 6th to 8th March, 2024 at KICC, Nairobi. The Conference aims at attracting investors into the Sector, with special focus on Public Private Partnerships and Blended mechanisms that leverage private and commercial finance. The overall theme of the event is "Accelerating Investments for Sustainable Access to Water and Sanitation for All".

It is expected that WASIC will present many opportunities for the Public and Private Sectors actors in the Water and Sanitation business both locally and internationally, to meet and deliberate on business models and partnerships which will propel Kenya to Universal access by 2030. The Conference is especially keen to attract participation by Investors, Financiers, the Private Sector and Business Community, who will engage with the Public Sector in exploring practical ways to bridge the financial, technological, and other existing resource gaps.
