Ministry of Health initiates Quality of Care Bill drafting process

The Ministry of Health, in partnership with various stakeholders, has initiated the drafting process for the Quality of Care Bill, a legislative endeavor aimed at bolstering healthcare standards across the nation. 

This initiative underscores the collective commitment to achieving the overarching goals of Universal Health Coverage (UHC) by prioritizing the provision of high-quality healthcare services to all citizens.

The proposed bill takes a comprehensive approach to healthcare improvement, addressing critical areas such as infrastructure development, optimization of Health Products and Technologies (HPTs), strengthening of health systems, and the enhancement of Human Resources for Health. 

By focusing on these key aspects, the bill seeks to ensure that every individual has access to equitable, efficient, and reliable healthcare services.
