Faith Odhiambo has been elected as the 51st President of the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) after defeating his closest competitor Peter Wanyama. Below is Faith's acceptance statement.

Thank you for making your choice, the Stable Progressive Bar. Once again, you have kept the Faith, and fulfilling my commitment to you is the highest gratitude I can offer, and I shall. 

I appreciate my competitors in the presidential race for the spirited but respectful contest. We have shown that our Society is the gold standard for professionalism and collegiality, ideological differences notwithstanding. 

We must now make the PSP Agenda a reality, the vote in support of it is an affirmation that it is the right plan of action for our society. Let us build this stable progressive bar together!

Faith Mony Odhiambo

Faith got 3113 votes while his closest competitor Peter got 2165 votes of the total 7510 votes cast. Ngetich Kipkoech Bernard had 833 votes, Mboshe Njoki Harriet 511 votes and Daudi Kamende Carolyne garnered 888 votes.
