Looking for the best cheap internet service providers in Kenya? This article digs deep into some of the highest speed and most reliable fibre/wifi/wireless internet providers in Nairobi for your home use, office or business. We have listed the companies starting from the best. The listing considers internet speed, reliability, security matters and extent of customer support the internet providers will offer you.

Safaricom Home Fibre
The unlimited Safaricom Home fibre Internet allows you to have fast, reliable and unlimited internet access in your home. This is a nice deal for streaming movies or watching movies online on Netflix and Showmax. However, the internet is only available in some regions . Check a comprehensive review we had written about Safaricom Home Fibre
Telkom Kenya
After re-branding from Orange to Telkom Kenya, alot has changed about this internet provider. Telkom offers affordable mobile internet services as well as wireless (portable uses routers).
Telkom’s home plan internet is so fast (Download speed: 15 mbs and Upload speed: 20 mbs). We use the Telkom home plan internet in our office and it has never disappointed us.
They offer unlimited monthly internet at Ksh. 4,000 and it has never disconnected or gone down. I guess this this is the cheapest unlimited internet package with high speed that you will ever find in Kenya . But you need a portable huawei router which goes at ksh. 5,000. The router is available at Telkom offices in Nairobi CBD. Below are its other packages;

Telkom home plan internet is ideal for downloading documentaries
Safaricom Big Box (Tv and Internet)
Safaricom is a leading mobile internet provider in Kenya. If you are a low internet consumer then just buy their internet bundles through mobile code *544#. However, if you are a heavy internet user then Safaricom Big Box will not suit you as it is limited. We have written a comprehensive review about Safaricom big box.

Zuku Internet
Zuku offers unlimited internet, with speed mostly ranging from 1-50 MBs per second. Its prices are however not as friendly as those of Telkom. You might be interested in using it if you want to combine tv and internet for your family.
Faiba internet
Faiba internet is under Jamii Telecom. Faiba offers internet for home and business users in Nairobi. They are reliable but too expensive. Take this option if you are fed up with Safaricom home fiber or Telkom home. We had done a comprehensive review about Jamii telecom faiba internet packages. Below is screenshot of the faiba home internet package available in some regions in Nairobi..

NOTE: If you notice any changes in internet packages or any abandoned service that we have listed above then let us know so that we can update this article.
Recommendation: If you are in Nairobi and are not sure which internet provider to use then we recommend Safaricom Home Fibre for home use if you are in the supported areas or Telkom Unlimited Home Plan for a small office use. If you have a contrary opinion or any experience to share, then let us know in the comment section below.
