To be registered as a TSC teacher you have to meet the following academic qualifications.
Certificate
- Mean grade of D+ and ECDE Certificate or
- Mean grade of D (plain), KNEC proficiency certificate and KNEC ECDE Certificate
PTE
- Mean grade of C (plain) and PTE Certificate or
- Mean grade of C- (for the blind and deaf)
Diploma in Education
- Mean Grade of C+ and graduation certificate
Bachelor of Education (degree)
- Mean grade C+ and graduation certificate
Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science
- Mean Grade of C+ and post graduate in diploma in Education (PGDE)
