To be cleared from CRB in Kenya, you need to pay all your outstanding loan and fines. After repaying, contact the company that listed you so that they can submit your repayment details to Credit reference bureau for your CRB status to be updated. If you have cleared your loan and paid all the required fees including CRB clearance fee, then it takes about 48 hours for your information to be updated from being negatively listed to positively listed.

Credit reference bureau companies are required to retain your credit information for a period of five years from the date of repayment of your loan. Remaining on CRB is different from being negatively listed on CRB.
