When going live, you my must first apply for approval. Email safaricom business team, and they will provide you with a going live form to fill. After filling and submitting the form, you will receive an email notifying you of the approval.
- Login to developer.safaricom.co.ke and Go Live
- Select Short code
- Enter Organization code (This is your paybill or till number)
- Enter organization Names. You business name that was used to register the paybill. This section is what causes most errors. Make sure that the organization name is only one word. If your organization name is, for example; Bima Enterprise Limited. Try using only Bima.
- In the Mpesa Username, enter the username you received in the going live approval email.
The going live approval email normally comes with the subject "Create Organization Operator"
