There are a number of regulatory requirements that you have to meet before opening a private primary school. Below is a list of them; 

  • Your must-have title deed or lease agreement for leased land and building
  • Your institution must not be located within a radius of 300m from a liquor-selling business
  • You must only admit students upon receiving a certificate of registration.
  • Classroom size must be at least 1.2m square meters per learner and a maximum of 45 learners per classroom.
