Landlord refusing with deposit, what should I do?

My previous landlord is refusing to refund my deposit.

She says she'll refund when her house gets someone else even if it takes 5 months.

What should I do

If it is a substantial amount of money, then go to court. Remember also to request for the landlord to bear the cost of the suit. If it is less than 20,000 then it is a waste of time going to court.
