Can I do P1 with a mean grade of C- and a C+ in maths C plain in english and kiswahili .

I want to undertake a career path in teaching, I did my kcse in 2017 I wish to join a teacher's institute by this year2022. Is my mean grade of C- with a C+ in mathematics stand a chance with P1 teacher's institutions.

First of all, P1 course is no longer offered in Tracher Training colleges.

Diploma in primary education is the new minimum qualification for primary teaching.

The entry grades are:

A minimum of C plain in KCSE.

A minimum of C plain in Maths, English, Kiswahili

A minimum of C plain in either Physics, Chemistry or Biology

A minimum of C plain in one humanity subjects e.g History, CRE, IRE.
