I made an application via eCitizen and made payment via Mpesa and the portal says that no payment has been received

If you made Mpesa payment via eCitizen portal and it is indicating that no payment has been received or failed then make sure that you are not making duplicate applications. Go to your application history and check whether you have two similar applications.
