WordPress.com has launched its affiliate program to help in selling some of its premium products like WordPress.com hosting, VaultPress, Akismet, WooCommerce store, pressable.com and Jetpack premium.

WordPress.com affiliate program allows bloggers to receive some earning for referring customers to buy their products which include (wordpress.com, pressable.com hosting, Jetpack upgrade, VaultPress, Akismet, and WooCommerce.)
How it works
If a customer buys any WordPress product through your affiliate link then you will get a 20% commission of all amounts received by WordPress (Automattic) product sells.
Affiliate Registration procedure
To make money from WordPress affiliate program you must join their affiliate program
- Visit and create an account at Refer.WordPress.com .
- Wait for approval.
- After approval sign in to your dashboard and Pick affiliate codes provided
- Place the affiliate codes and links in your website and earn 20% of the sale when your referrals purchase any WordPress product.
NOTE: WordPress.com indicates in its terms that to continue to be eligible for participation in the affiliate Program, you must generate at least US $100 annually in Marketing Fees.
WordPress.com affiliate commission Payment method
WordPress makes its payments 30 days after receiving sells from your affiliate link. To receive your payments/earnings, your commissions must not be less than $100.
Payment Method: By the time of writing this article, WordPress only allowed payment through Paypal.
NOTE: WordPress says that they will not pay you for cancelled, refunded,charged back sells from your affiliate link. You will also not earn if a customer takes more than 20 days to make a purchase through your affiliate link.
How to Track your WordPress affiliate earnings or statistics
Visit your account dashboard and go to Performance tab to check on how many people have clicked on your affiliate links, conversions from the clicks and your earnings
