Mombasa County Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party primaries, Saturday 22nd April 2017: The ODM party nominations went down in Mombasa County on Saturday. The Most hotly contested seat in the Mombasa primaries was that of Nyali constituency.
Mombasa County is a voting stronghold opposition leader Raila Odinga according to the 2013 presidential elections results where he garnered a largest number of votes against his closest competitor president Uhuru Kenyatta.
