Did you study in a single boarding school? Would you love studying in a girl’s only University? Today we bring you Kiriri Women’s University of Science & Technology (KWUST). KWUST is the only women’s university in East Africa recognized by the state in Kenya. Kariri University offers three degree courses Barchelor of science in computer science, Barchelor of science in mathematics and Barchelor of science in business administration.
One thing that I found odd about Kariri University is that it opened its twitter account in 2011 and since then it has posted only 4 tweets. This means that it posts one tweet each year. I know this might not sound weird to you if you are not a fan of twitter.
Anne who is a student at Kariri University indicated that she finds it good learning in a girl’s only University because there are fewer distractions which are caused by men. She however added that t o some extent she wished her school could incorporate boys so that they can learn to compete with them.
