What is the difference between renewable and non-renewable resources?

The difference between renewable and non-renewable resources is;

Renewable resources are those whose supply can be restored when they are exhausted such as wood, HEP, solar energy etc while Non-renewable resources are those whose supply cannot be restored once they are exhausted such as mineral deposits, coal, natural gas etc
