To change your institution in HELB, go to your account on the HELB App, then click on Institution, then click on edit. If that does not work send your new admission letter and ID to contactcentre@helb.co.ke or visit Huduma Center (HELB desk) so that your changes can be updated.
The amount of HELB Loan awarded to students with single parents depends on the financial status of the student's family and evidence provided during application.The maximum amount that HELB Loan awards to undergraduate students is Ksh. 60,000 while the minimum is Ksh. 40,000.
After printing, filling, signing, and attaching the required HELB Loan application documents for first time applicants, submit the forms to Huduma Center (HELB Desk) or if you are in Nairobi drop the form in HELB Offices located in Anniversary Towers (Mezzanine 1 floor). Huduma Center (HELB Desk) is available in Bomet, Nairobi (GPO), Kitale, Migori, Bungoma, Kakamega, Kitui, Mombasa, Nyeri, Chuka, Lowdar, Muranga, Taita Taveta, Eldoret, Kericho, Machakos, Nakuru, Thika, Embu, Kilifi, Makueni, Nandi, West Pokot, Garissa, Kisumu, Meur, and Narok County.
