If you have cleared your loan and paid all the required fees including CRB clearance fee, then it takes about 48 hours for your information to be updated from being negatively listed to positively listed.
Being on CRB is not a hindrance to getting a loan. You will only not get a loan if you have been negatively listed on CRB (that is if you defaulted and have not cleared any outstanding loan). You should not worry if you gave been positively listed on CRB.

Your CRB status will be updated from negative to positive after you have completed repaying the loan and the listing institution has forwarded your name to CRB for de-listing. If your listing institution has not submitted a notification to indicate that you have repaid your loan, then you should contact them. NOTE: Your name will still be remain in CRB after repaying your loan for 5 to 6 years. Your worry should be if you are listed negatively.
A CRB negative listing means you are a loan defaulter and therefore most banks will not issue a loan to such borrowers. You need to clear you name from CRB negative listing to stand a chance of getting a bank loan.
