Learner Personal Identification Number (UPI) number in Kenya is a unique identification code or number generated through NEMIS portal and issued to learner or staff for identification purpose through their entire education system or journey.
UPI number can only be obtained from the school head where the girl was studying. If the school cannot provide the UPI number, then the other option is to visit the sub-county director of education.
To get your son's UPI number, you can register him on the NEMIS (National Education Management Information System) portal.Use these steps:Go to the NEMIS portal website: Click on the Register (if new) button.Enter your son's personal information, such as his name, date of birth, gender, and contact details.Also, enter your own personal information as the parent/guardian.Click on the Submit button.Once your son's registration is successful, you will receive an SMS with his UPI number.
