What are the key subjects they look upon when selecting the cluster points for journalism particularly news anchoring

To study for media studies, mass communication or journalism course in University, you need to have performed well in language courses. Some of the minimum key subject requirements in journalism include.

  • C+ plus and above in English or Kiswahili
  • C+ plus and above in Maths

Generally, if you score C+ in Maths and C+ in English or Kiswahili you qualify to do most non-technical courses in Kenya.

Medicine related courses will requires you to have C+ plus and above in Biology, Maths and Chemistry.

Engineering courses will require you to have C+ plus in Maths, Physics and Chemistry.
