You cannot drive a saloon car with C1 NTSA driving License in Kenya. That is a different driving class. Just go back to a driving school for endorsement if you want to be at peace with the police when travelling.

Here is what the traffic act in Kenya says’

No person shall drive a motor vehicle of any class on a road unless he is the holder of a valid driving licence or a provisional license endorsed in respect of that class of vehicle

It continues to state that

No person shall be entitled to more than one driving licence, but a driving licence may be endorsed to permit the holder to drive one or more classes of motor vehicle.”

You need to visit NTSA office to have your details updated in the system.
