If a court of law finds a pedestrian to be at fault in a car accident, then the pedestrian will not be compensated for injuries because he exposed himself. The driver may actually demand for compensation from the pedestrian if there were any damages.

For insurance compensation, if the driver is at fault the driver or pedestrian’s insurance company can compensate.
