Returned status in NTSA TIMS portal when accepting ownership means that your application has been reverted back to the owner to rectify details or provide more documents. In most cases, the cause of this problem is the Logbook. Confirm whether the Logbook is jointly owned. Also ensure that you have uploaded all documents pertaining the vehicle. You can click on the VIEW button to see the reason the why the application was declined. If there are no reasons, then visit NTSA Offices to have your details updated.
DTE in NTSA means driving test examiners. These are NTSA staff or employees that conduct driving test exams. They are found at various NTSA driving test units (DTU) or centers.
NTSA status 'unpost' means your smart driving license is not activated because you have a pending payment. Make sure that you have completed your payment for any of your pending applications in NTSA TIMS account. After payment the status should change to normal. Also make sure that you have paid ksh. 750 for pdl before you apply for smart driving license. If you want to change your biometrics or finger print taking center then visit NTSA TIMS portal, click apply for Smart DL. You will see a button indicated as "change booking information", click the button to change your Smart DL Collection point and booking time.If after clicking the “change booking information" button you are getting an error, then the only option you have is to visit any NTSA office near you and ask them to make the amendments.More information on Smart DL application
