To unblock your line, dial *456# using any Safaricom line, enter the mobile phone number your want to get PUK then select Get PUK and follow the prompts to retrieve it. You can also get PUK using the Safaricom portal https://safaricom.com/account/puk. The portal can only be accessed using Safaricom Mobile Data. Do not use WiFi.
To Unblock your KCB Mpesa mobile banking pin, you are required to visit any KCB Bank branch near you with your original national ID. If you are using an ATM card then you can reset your pin using KCB ATM by selecting mobile and the following the prompts.
To keep your line active if you will be out of the country for more than six months, then ensure that you have topped up airtime to it. You can ask someone to top it up from Kenya or buy airtime from your bank or Mpesa account.
If your Safaricom line remains inactive for long it will be deactivated. To reactivate your Safaricom Simcard, then call Safaricom with another active line through 100 and they will help you activate the line.
To recover your forgotten KRA pin and email, scan your ID (both sides) and send it to callcentre@kra.go.ke. Do not forget to include your new email address and your profession in the email that you will send to KRA
