This is not possible if you have already been placed by KUCCPS. Therefore, the only option you have is self-sponsored program.
During KUCCPS revision, you can apply for a maximum of six degree courses and four diploma and certificate courses of your choice. You will however be placed for one choice.
Yes, if you have been placed to a private University like KCA by KUCCPS then your fee will be paid by the government. Kindly note that even government sponsored students placed to public universities do pay tuition fee about ksh. 16,000 to 20,000 per semester. Therefore, you will also have to pay that fee.
You must have atleast a B (plain) in Chemistry to do Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree even under self sponsored programme.
