To change your KCPL meter names, you need to visit your area KPLC offices with your ID, KRA pin and land title deed to have your names corrected. If you acquired the meter number from a broker, then you have to contact him for name changes
You cannot load tokens using another meter. The tokens you purchase are meant for a specific meter number. If you use a different meter to load the tokens then you will get an error message. You need to contact Kenya power for meter replacement or repair if your meter has a problem
To check your Kenya power meter number, dial 804 on your token reader or meter box and press enter. If that code does not work then dial 65# or 100# or #100 and then press enter. Your meter number will be displayed on the screen. We have provided more than one code for checking the meter number because of the differences in the make of the meter box.
Safaricom does not have a way to stop or block private numbers from calling you. The only option you have is to go to Google Play Store, search and install any application that stops private calls or calls that are not in your phone contact list.
If your Kenya Power meter for keying tokens is not displaying anything, then make sure it is connected to a power source (socket or extension). If the meter is not showing any digits after connecting to a power source then it means two things. Either the fuse is blown that is why power is not passing or batteries are worn out. Consider replacing the batteries (if there is no power) or your fuse (if there is power). Thereafter, connect directly to a power socket. Do not use extension.
