IEBC North Eastern Province Number of registered voters: Somali Tribe Majority

Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) registered voters in North Eastern province which comprises mostly of the Somali tribe and  well known to both jubilee and CORD in equal numbers.

The former north eastern province was divided into 3  counties which include Garissa, Wajir and Mandera counties. Below are the official IEBC registered voters  in North Eastern(updated early 2017).

Number of Registered voters in North Eastern Province

 

  1. Garissa County: 115,202 voters
  2. Wajir County: 118091 voters
  3. Mandera County: 120768 voters

North Eastern  Province total registered voters: 354061 registered voters
