How to transfer course Admitted: Steps on how to change the course that you have been admitted to in first year

First asdmission check listTransferring a course that you have been admitted to in first year from one department to another, from one school to another, from one satellite campus to another might appears to be impossible which is not the case. It only gets hard when you don’t understand the procedures to be followed.

If you want to transfer your course, ensure you have met the set requirements of transfer. That is; cut off points of the course you want to transfer to, subject grade requirements of the course you want to transfer to, and you have filled all the necessary transfer forms.

Transfer of courses for first years is normally done within the first two weeks of reporting but the dates may differ from one institution to another. Don’t wait for the semester to come to an end then think of transferring.

The best place to visit for advice before you transfer your course is the career office or the admissions office. In these offices, you will get more guidance on how transfer from one course to another or one satellite campus to another.

You should however be aware that it is almost impossible to transfer from one university to another. For instance, transferring from Kenyatta University to University Of Nairobi but this does not mean it is impossible.

Do you have any question on how transfer a course from one school to another while in first year?
