I convey my condolences to the families, friends and relatives of all those who have lost loved ones in these accidents. To the family of the student from AIC Kamanyiny in Nandi North, Njoro from Kabarnet and the young girl from AIC Visa Oshwal Kabarnet, I convey my heartfelt and deepest condolences.
Let us also remember that these accidents leave in their wake, multiple injuries and heavy financial burdens on the survivors, their dependents and families.
I therefore urge all of us to continue supporting all of the affected in every way we can and also remember them in our prayers.
As a way of mitigating this high incidence of road accidents, I will soon be launching a countywide road saetu campaign to ensure that our roads are safe and lives secured.
